Migrate from Azure Media Services

Move existing Azure Media Services (AMS) assets into MK.IO without treating migration as a separate product area. Choose the import path for your library, then convert or publish the imported assets as required.

Choose an import path

• Import selected AMS assets: Import existing AMS assets from connected Azure storage.
• Bulk import an AMS library: Import multiple AMS assets from a storage account.

Prepare imported assets

• Verify the imported files and tracks.
• Convert legacy assets when the target workflow requires the current MP4 format.
• Publish migrated assets with an MK.IO streaming endpoint and locator.
